The series was one of the first consumer digital cameras in this world. It was first launched in 1994. Three models of the product were built including the 100,150 and 200. The 200 which released on 17 February 1997 was the last model launched still now.

when came back to in 1997 , He discontinued many non-computer products, such as the Newton PDA, the LaserWriter printer line and the , in order to solve ’s financial problems. Since then, camera series became a kind of hot collections for Fans.

The 200 had a display resolution of 640 x 480 pixels maximum (0.3 Megapixels). My 200 also equiped with a 2MB memory card made by Fujifilm.

It cost $600 US in the year 1997. But it’s the of my eye. :D

  1. I’ve had one since I bought it new (when they were a shipping product). There are several problems with this camera. One is that it is slow - it is difficult to take pictures that aren’t blurry. A problem for me since I bought it to take pics of my daughter who is 13 now, but was maybe 2 when I bought the camera.

It takes FOUR high energy lithium batteries. And it uses them quickly. Those are expensive batteries! The memory card is non-standard.

The final nail in the coffin for this camera was the switch to USB and MacOS X. Then finally the switch to Intel. These days you can’t run the software (no Classic on Intel), so you can’t even use a USB adapter with it.

  2. Oh, I really understand your experience on QuickTake. Maybe those were the reasons it failed.

Fortunately, Apple is more open than before now, Therefore. it become more popular these years.

  3. I really like this one…
